Support a good cause September

Through lockdown, we all experienced what it can be like to see nobody for days, weeks, and months on end and have a better understanding of the negative impacts on our mental health and wellbeing.

In England more than 2 million people over 75 live alone, and more than a million older people say they go for over a month without speaking to a friend, neighbour or family member (Age UK). With hundreds of thousands of elderly people lonely and cut off from society in this country – now, more than ever, our older generations need our support!

Age Concern Liverpool and Sefton is appealing to our generous communities for support, exploring new ways to sustain its vital services to help combat isolation and loneliness amongst the most vulnerable.

On THURS 8th September 2022, Comedy Bingo comes to Southport Market, hosted by comedian Brendan Riley – we’ll be giving away fabulous prizes, holding a raffle and auction to raise funds. Please support us:
