We’re celebrating our 95th anniversary at Age Concern Liverpool and Sefton with a year of challenges to celebrate older adults and get our communities involved.
Over the past 95 years we have been providing support services to thousands of older adults throughout Liverpool and Sefton. We’ve helped people feeling lonely and isolated, who don’t have the family networks to support them, to recover lost skills, confidence, independence and quality of life. It’s a legacy we’re enormously proud of and excited to continue building on for years to come.
To celebrate this important milestone, we wanted to do something special working with our community as a team to raise funds to continue to support our vital services which are a life line to many older, vulnerable adults locally.
‘Challenge 95’
To celebrate our achievements we are encouraging as many people from the local community to take on any challenge themed around the number 95…
Walk 95,000 steps in a month
Run, walk, cycle, paddle 9.5 miles, 9.5km, 95 miles, 95km
How many penalties can you score in 95 seconds?
Sing in a choir of 95, play in an orchestra for 95 minutes or with 95 instruments!
Donate or fundraise £95
The choice and challenge is yours – the wackier and the more people you involve the better!

As a team, we’ll be abseiling down the cathedral, canoeing for 20 miles from Liverpool to Ormskirk, cycling Liverpool to Chester and taking part in as many fun activities as we can to spread the word and raise funds to support local older adults.
Wouldn’t it be awesome to raise £9,500
We’ll certainly give it a go – we need your help!
