The LEAP Boiler Scheme offers assistance to fuel poor or vulnerable households to repair or replace broken or condemned boilers.
The LEAP Boiler Scheme is provided by AgilityEco along with its partners and funded by energy companies through the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative Scheme.

Sefton’s Emergency Limited Assistance Scheme (ELAS) is available to support local residents. This is for if you are experiencing severe hardship, a disaster or emergency. It is there to meet one-off needs and not ongoing expenses. For eligibility criteria (in receipt of benefits) and what it covers go to https://www.sefton.gov.uk/ELAS

Sefton Council has joined with neighbouring Council’s to provide a Gateway system to assess, manage and allocate homelessness and housing related support services in the borough. Gateway to Housing & Support was created to provide improved access to short-term Housing Related Support services for single persons (and couples in some circumstances) within the Liverpool City Region.

We are pleased to offer specialised services for individuals aged 65 and over. Our Older Person’s Advice Caseworker has extensive experience in social welfare and is well-versed in benefits for older adults, including

In addition to benefits, Specialist Welfare Officer will recognise housing law issues, advising clients on eviction processes and housing disrepair, and will refer these cases to our internal teams, including our housing solicitors, who have a strong track record in court handling possession notices and tenant rights.
Additionally, we will assist clients with debt-related matters by identifying needs and connecting them with our external partners for comprehensive financial support. This includes guiding clients through options like Breathing Space and facilitating referrals to specialised debt advisers when necessary.
